How to wear a short belted coat three ways

The short belted coat is the piece we reach for most in the shop, and it is the one customers ask about most often. It sits just above the knee, the belt pulls the waist in, and the double-breasted front means it reads as tailored even over a t-shirt.

1. With the midi skirt

Coat, black pencil midi, cream knee boots. This is the version in our campaign imagery. It works because the coat stops where the skirt begins, so the leg line stays uninterrupted. Good for evening, dinner, anything where you keep the coat on indoors.

2. Over the stripe

Coat open over the Pepe Jeans Carlina crew neck and indigo flares. The stripe stops the camel from looking too formal. Daytime, weekends, travelling.

3. Belt undone, over denim

Unbelted, the coat drops into a straight line and becomes something else entirely. Wear it with the stretch jeans and flat boots when you want the length without the shape.
